No patient should ever be denied treatment, due to financial constraints.
The Thompson-Mason Brain Cancer Foundation has many goals. First and foremost, we want to help low-income brain cancer patients and their families with the cost of traveling to seek the best medical treatment possible, providing gas cards for fuel purchases, reserving and paying for hotel rooms and making sure they do not go hungry. We also hope to be able to aid low income-patients with paying medical bills for services provided at cancer treatment facilities and providing financial assistance to caregivers of patients who are in the final stages of their battle with cancer. If the treatment being received and condition of the patient allows, we would like to finance a memorable family vacation, handling all aspects of planning the trip.
